Installing new blogger theme or template on blogger is very simple as compared to other platform. For designing blog or changing look of the blog we need to change blogger theme.
Google provides few built in themes but that theme was not good looking, if you want then you can use that built in themes. But if you want to add custom template then follow the simple steps.
How to Install New Theme on Blogger:
Step 1:
First up all download blogger template that was good looking, Responsive. All template mostly in zip format.
Step 2:
Extract (unzip) that zip files from computer hard drive. Because we only install .xml format template.
Step 3:
After extracting files we will see the template with .xml format.
Step 4:
Go to blogger dashboard, open your blog that you want to change template. Then go to theme option, which is located at left side.
Step 5:
Then click on backup/restore option at right side.
Step 6:
Note: before installing new template first up all take the backup of your old template.
Pop up window will be open then click on “choose file” and select template which is in .xml format.
Step 7:
After selecting click on upload. We have done! Successfully upload a new template.
How to add new gadget:
Go to Layout Select gadget that you want to add after adding gadget click on save arrangement.
Remove unnecessary gadget from your blog:
Go to Layout => Select gadget that you want to remove & click on remove.
After removing gadget save arrangement.
Note: Every Time you are planning to make changes to your blog at that time you must need to make backup of your blog template
